Re-Defining Body Image

I have struggled for years with societies view of what sexy is supposed to be "shaped" like and have had to look within to see the qualities of my beloved partner that moved me towards her that attracted me to her "inner" sexiness. It floors me to see our world sell sexy through 17 year old innocence, photo shopped faces and stick figures. It seems as if the age of our models gets younger and skinnier every year and "sexy" has practically become "to young to go there" or “REALLY???!!!”  And, the funny thing is, my big blues wander the vast sea of advertising and living products of advertising and I find myself, even after all these years of inner work, projecting what I think sexy "should be" on my partner and society.

Well, the other day blew my mind and changed the game forever!!

There is an incredible photographer on an profound mission to show the inner light of a woman that is beyond her shape by shooting nude photos of any size, shape, color and on and on (there was woman with one arm fully embodied!!). His idea is to capture that profound self appreciation that exudes all the sexiness a man could ever desire. We arrived at his quant Santa Ana apartment and were met by a peppy jazz tune and a smiling face that could light up any room. We relaxed, engaged in a profound conversation about the changing humanity, and, As I watched my wife, stripped of all layers, fully embody HER BODY, I could not help but feel the sensations of my desire rise up through every cell of my body and the flashes of ancient times (and not so ancient times) where the fullness of a woman's body was deemed sexy, where life experience was deemed sexy, where a woman embodied WOMAN in every sense of the word.  My Mind is forever changed.

If your a man and your woman does not have the body of a teenage girl, be grateful and explore the layers of life experience that have created such an authentic creation, go deep, be present, allow the storm of her Being to come alive, fully!   If your a woman and you cannot look in the mirror because you intend to model the teenage dream of beauty, WAKE UP, relax, and allow the fullness of your womanhood to take shape, and with confidence, walk out in the world knowing that you are desire in motion, full of the essence of life and expressing that through every cell of your body.

Like the photographer Romeo Gil said during our time together, “I like ALL women in their fullness, of all shapes and size.” What this man has set out to do is simply …. transformational.  What a Brave New World we reside in when all the eyes are pointed back inside to find the light!  The Time Is Now!

Connect with Romeo here if you are interested in finding out more about his incredible mission.

Can Hugging Yourself Empower You?

Recently I have been taking session know as "Master Angel" Peace Work which is facilitated by a dear friend and soul traveler, Andrea Zellermayer.  Her incredibly insightful sessions have taken me to the root of many of the patterns that do not serve me in my life.

One of my favorite things that we have done has been to go back into the past and call in a specific incident in childhood in which I felt the particular pattern that we are working on.  Then, I go into that time and space as the man I am now and give the child guidance on what to do so that he will feel supported and empowered in his self,  a guidance in which I never received at that time and has shaped fear-based patterns in the present.

Well, as empowering as this very act is, today I went a step further at the end of the session and was asked to give myself and my childhood self a great big HUG!  Now I have never before in my life received a hug from myself, so the very notion was confusing and surreal all at the same time.  When I was finally able to focus in enough and do the deed, I, well, In all honesty and from the humblest place I could possibly say this, I was met with the most incredible hug I have ever received in my life!!!  So full of LOVE and COMPASSION, so devoted to the moment.  So, of course, a dose of instant doubt came in I immediately asked myself; Is that really what it feels like to hug me?  YES!!!!!!  YES!!!!  YES!!!! I SAY YYYYYYEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!

Fully empowered by this incredible sensation and healing that I felt being hugged by me, I felt the child complete and the Man composed and centered.   I know from this day forth, that feeling will always stay with me.  And now when I am with friends and loved ones, working with underprivileged persons or just meeting someone new and the moment arises to hug, I know very well what kind of love and kindness I am expressing in the gesture and can be fully confident that it can brighten up even the darkest of days!

I am committed to hugging myself on a daily basis now.  I think you should try it too.

Thank you so much Andrea Zellermayer, this session has changed the course of this lifetime!  WOW!

Thank You Berlin!

Berlin ….. Thank You!

Besides all the color, charm, deep history and openness to art.....

Could I have ever imagined that I would take a giant LEAP in my ability to show up as a MAN in this life would be on the streets of Berlin…..well ….. never in a million lifetimes. But it is true. Each day, through the pain and fears of rejection, emotional discomfort and lack of energetic strength I managed to open my heart to the city of Berlin and pour out the greatest gifts possible from my soul. And it paid off, physically, mentally, spiritually and financially. I am different because of this experience. I am more confident, grounded and loving what it is I am to do in this life. My voice has opened up to places I could have never imagined. I relationship has grown (as it always will when there is more SELF-LOVE). I feel alive and funny enough, for the first time in my life, I feel like a provider. I would wake up every morning and breath through the emotional baggage and eventually find myself out in the streets, singing to absolute strangers, most of whom could not understand a word I was saying, and do my best to deliver these songs and messages like it was the first time, every time. Some days, WOW, well, they were excruciating, there was even a couple of times where the pain was so great that I had to just sit and revel in the experience of my insistent separation. I love this city, I am forever grateful for this opportunity to stand up and BE ME in the face of all my fears. Am I now an enlightened saint, quite a way to go really, all I know is that I have taken one giant leap towards my own empowerment which in turn is a huge step for the "Brave New World" project as I always intended to be LIVING these messages.

Thank you again Berlin and everyone whom was a part of this exchange!

Men! Please Read! "If" by Rudyard Kipling

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on";

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!

Restoring the Balance of Nature!!

This was inspired by a beautiful young soldier woman on the way to Sinai, Egypt. Just imagine coming out of a deep rest to see a beautiful woman staring deeply into your eyes. The catch is that she is in a full army suit and has a AK 47 on her hip that is pointing straight at your jewels....the following is what came through......

How many times in life can you open your eyes from a restful sleep to find a brown eyed angel staring deep into your soul with the softness of a feather, a smile of sensuality embracing me saying, "Come to me and strip me of this suit of binding conformity. Caress my womanly body and honor the silky soft skin that lies beneath these army rags. Pull the gun from my grasps leaving me naked and take me into your arms, making love to me deeply, honoring my feminine power as I peacefully soften into your penetration. Love me so profound that the binds of society fall beneath us and worship our freedom and we are left as lovers intertwined rising and spiraling into the sky, free to express our love and desire, capable of embracing our nature. I fearlessly become feminine and your masculinity protects and guides me into pure exstacy. I am ALIVE again!! I am a WOMAN and you a MAN and today we have restored the balance of nature!!"

Talking to my Inner Child

I am holding you and let you know all the things that scare you are real and far from real all at the same time.

I am staring deeply into your eyes and penetrate you with love so that your fears of not being accepted fall away in the breeze.

You are Free, no matter what your mind tells you!!

There is a reason for the way that you are, it is Love!!

Cry with me, I know it hurts to be a man!

If you step out of yourself, you will feel joy beyond your imagination.

I forgive you.

You do nothing wrong

I forgive you.

You are lovely the way you are.

I forgive you!

Please kick and scream and call me names.

I forgive you!

For the way you judge......yourself!

I forgive you!

For the painful walls put around...

I forgive you!

You are my inner child, loud, incessant, ignorant and enlightened, pure and simple, crippling and expanding, you are always here and sometimes I will need to hold you and let you know that we are OK and other times I will follow you and expand into your nature of infinity.

We can do this together always, Man and Child!!

Much love and Gratitude to Satya Rayes for the inspiration......
