Can Hugging Yourself Empower You?

Recently I have been taking session know as "Master Angel" Peace Work which is facilitated by a dear friend and soul traveler, Andrea Zellermayer.  Her incredibly insightful sessions have taken me to the root of many of the patterns that do not serve me in my life.

One of my favorite things that we have done has been to go back into the past and call in a specific incident in childhood in which I felt the particular pattern that we are working on.  Then, I go into that time and space as the man I am now and give the child guidance on what to do so that he will feel supported and empowered in his self,  a guidance in which I never received at that time and has shaped fear-based patterns in the present.

Well, as empowering as this very act is, today I went a step further at the end of the session and was asked to give myself and my childhood self a great big HUG!  Now I have never before in my life received a hug from myself, so the very notion was confusing and surreal all at the same time.  When I was finally able to focus in enough and do the deed, I, well, In all honesty and from the humblest place I could possibly say this, I was met with the most incredible hug I have ever received in my life!!!  So full of LOVE and COMPASSION, so devoted to the moment.  So, of course, a dose of instant doubt came in I immediately asked myself; Is that really what it feels like to hug me?  YES!!!!!!  YES!!!!  YES!!!! I SAY YYYYYYEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS! 

Fully empowered by this incredible sensation and healing that I felt being hugged by me, I felt the child complete and the Man composed and centered.   I know from this day forth, that feeling will always stay with me.  And now when I am with friends and loved ones, working with underprivileged persons or just meeting someone new and the moment arises to hug, I know very well what kind of love and kindness I am expressing in the gesture and can be fully confident that it can brighten up even the darkest of days!

I am committed to hugging myself on a daily basis now.  I think you should try it too.

Sunrise 365 - Day 84 - A Practice For Peace

Are you feeling peaceful today? Is the world and all of it's distractions keeping you from seeing the shining light that you are inside? If so, I have a nice practice (and quick of course, I remember that we don't have TIME these days, even though time is only in the mind, but thats for another day).

I know that everyone has seen a sunrise at some time in their life and have watched and contemplated the glorious manifestation of a new day. Well, the practice is exactly that. For a few minutes let's close our eyes, breath into that light shining inside of us and picture the light of first day. Contemplate the stillness that surrounds it and the dance of nature as it wakes up with you. See yourself as being surrounded in this peaceful energy of the sunrise for the whole entire day and when things come up that attempt to pull you into a frenzy, close the eyes again, even for 30 seconds and come back to the space. next thing you know you will be a walking sunrise and everyone that meets you will feel like they have just seen the light of a new day.

Action over Emotion

Most of my life I have lived by my emotion, acted upon my emotion, self destructed upon emotion and manipulated to get my way because of emotion. This time in my life has dawned a new era. A time when, especially since being back in India, my emotions are running ramped, but my focus is clean and my action is positive. Even in times of dramatic separation and hateful thoughts, I am CHOOSING to show up. Definetely far from perfect, but more aligned with my intention of WALKING THE WALK then ever before. Love IS the answer. Peace First is my mantra. How can anything great be created from a space of NON-Peace? If you figure that out, I would love to hear all about. I CHOOSE to create from peace. And, wow the creation is pouring through! GRATEFUL!

SLUM??? - Dharavi's Answer

SLUM - noun - a squalid and overcrowded urban street or district inhabited by very "POOR" people.

POOR - adjective - lacking sufficient "money" to live at a standard considered comfortable or normal in a society…

After tonights "Illuminate Dharavi" workshop and concert, I will simply have to quote my own song lyrics: "How can we, link our place, to re-invent a space that we call a disgrace when I see only joy on the children's face…Now can we see, with our selfish needs to see the world the way in which WE believe, we could be planting seeds of material NEED…I don't know."

the radiance, the joy, the unity, the collaboration, the care, the compassion, the never-ending enthusiasm…is this how the POOR behave? I would bet it was safe to say that these could be some of the richest people in the world. They are astounded by the little things, so present in their association to the world and completely grateful for any opportunity to shine their light.

We danced, we sang, we laughed, we joked, we invoked LOVE and Peace. I see the village in our hearts at every moment.

Just Felt Like Writing Something

Through the business of these days, the constant day to day meandering through this material existence, playing the game of life in a fluid and highly charged manner, I can only share words of complete gratitude! I know I spend a lot of time in positive portrayal of life and I know that there are possibly many people out there that would just like to slap the shit out of me and say, STOP BEING SO F***KING POSITIVE. OK, but why. Yeah my mind goes through the turmoil of existence on a daily basis, pondering insane thoughts of unrest and doubt, but, why I SAY, why speak on them. Words are as powerful as worlds and are the creators of our reality, so, I speak what I wish to see in my life, I share when my heart is open and I like to speak out from that place. There isn't space for self-loathing anymore, although it will always be somewhere tucked in our consciousness, but, again, I ask why, why speak on it. Because it help you to say hmmmmmm, possibly, but I will spit some lyrics at you from the song "HIGH" - Now watch what you say because the plants they play in the words echoing in the breeze - with a healthy mind and a healthy speech WE CAN POWER THE WORLD TO PEACE!! -

I look around a lot lately at this little game of life that 7 billion of us are playing on this planet, and, honestly, I cannot help but laugh when I come upon the realization that I play the game as a being whom acts as a guide to bring others to see this all as a game, and the game that I play has endless work for hundreds of years!! Oh, what a fun choice I have made....Such gratitude to walk hand and hand with the people that are making a difference in a time and space that really does not exist and even if it does, is such a small part of the infinite universe that is inside of each and every one of us. We are so powerful, yet we use our minds to disempower ourselves daily, WHY!!

Imagine a life where you are aware of the inevitable end, the "so-called" death, and each and every day you live in a reflection of the LIFE that is here now, and are completely expressive in each and every moment of it.

Imagine a life in which you whole-heartedly go after the things that are of your greatest imagination.
Imagine a life in which fear takes a back seat to love.
Imagine a life in which you manifest each and every little thing that you have ever wanted in your existence.
Imagine a life in which you are healthy and vibrant and feel like you are getting younger as the years pile on.
Imagine a life in which you are one with god, not God's servant or separate.
Imagine a life in which you are disciplined enough to love and respect YOURSELF and your integrity!
Imagine a life in which you wake up every day in complete gratitude and awe of EVERYTHING!
Start THIS MOMENT and make this your reality! It is a choice, believe me.

Lately I have been using various techniques that aid in my taking a conscious decision to completely alter the conditioning that has kept me down for so many years. After 30 years of waking up wanting to punch a small child, I now can wake with a sense of peace and calm, thinking thoughts of endless possibilities and gratitude for the many blessings I have in that moment. I see the people around me blossoming and creating their bliss daily!! oh boy, what a blessing it all is.......at this point, there is only one more thing I have to say, I AM IN LOVE WITH ME and MY LIFE and that makes my relationship with each and every entity on earth radiate from that space!! So, when I say I LOVE YOU, I can only say it because....I LOVE ME SO MUCH.

Our imagination is our reality when acted upon.....

First Entry in New Journal - July 20th, 2009

First of all, I must thank the beloved Miss Mary Violet for this blessed offering of love that will scribe int the next many months. her beloved heart is a reflection of the purity and light in which all souls yearn to come back to....

this book, being larger in physical Weight and energetically more rich, is a symbol of the great step in which I will take ar this turning point in my life. At the ripe age of 33, I will Honor the intention and integrity in which I live through discipline, knowing that with this action, ultimate freedom will come into my everyday MIND. It is time to take another leap into the man I am and to stand as a symbol in the messages that I SING and Speak!!

With my intentions clear, my heart open, my commitments fullfilled, my body, my mind and spirit respected and my connections honored and nurtured, I can penetrate this human existance with as much light and love as one man could ever imagine. PEOPLE GET READY.....heheheheh :)

I AM WALKING THIS PATH FOR ALL LIFE FORMS IN ALL GALAXIES, as WE ALL ARE!!!!
