Flags?

What are these symbolistic layers of fabric that we wave through the sky with high ideals? What do they really symbolize in OUR lives? The Past? The Future? NOW? Or a complete collection of the whole?

Who is to say that this country is MINE or that country is YOURS? Imagine the speck of time that this body comes to this earth and lands in a Flag Bearing Country.

In this life I am an American Citizen. This relation to a flag has it's freedoms and it's barriers as I travel through the world. There is so much wrapped around a Flag, politics, rules, governments, fools, but the greatest and only thing I choose to look at when I see a FLAG is COLOR. Our countries define culture and culture is interesting and dynamic, to be explored as much as possible in the short time that we get to venture through our lives.

I guess my focus is unclear on what point I really want to get across in this message of FLAGS, but I will not for another moment watch the world wave flags as a symbol of strength over another FLAG, holding them in pride when one countries conquers another or when the media LIES and states that A ONE COUNTRY HAS DEFEATED AND KILLED A RULER (hint hint).

LIving in Israel, I find so many people here PROUD to be Israeli, Proud in a way that separates them from the rest of the world in ways that are superior or inferior. What nation is TRULY superior to another. Every nation in the world will go through a cycle of power and strength due to the consciousness of the citizens. Right now America is getting a wake up call to the lack of ACTUAL STRENGTH the nation has and this is causing the people to OPEN THEIR EYES.

Again, where am I going with this, nowhere, just like devoting oneself to a country of a FLAG. I am devoted to LOVE, to UNITY and to the experience of life as a whole. By venturing into other FLAG oriented places with lines drawn as borders and people protecting territory like savage beasts, I intend to honor my connection to each and every being in the region as a being of LIGHT and LOVE and COMPASSION, and soon enough we will create a NEW FLAG that encompasses all the colors of the globe, but then there will be no reason for a flag. So for now, I play the game of flags clothed in these rags that are considered tags by material hags. I choose to dance and romance with the world as whole simple because it interest me to do so ….. Do I stand behind one nation, religion or ONE form of spirituality? I stand behind them all, because at the core, they were all created by human beings and in all human beings there is LOVE.

The Platform

The Platform - April 23rd, 2011

For months and months now I have been guided to a vacant platform overlooking the hills of jerusalem for my morning practice. It was as if this small piece of stone slab was placed for me to go into deep meditation and ecstatic Yoga at first light everyday. There was a deep sense of belongingness to this platform that I figured was due to the fact that it was surrounded by nature, but, much to my constant yearning of realization of something greater, I happened upon a connection while walking the dog of a Potential Business Partner here in Israel.

For the last week, we have been having constructive meetings about representation in Israel and the possibility of doing an rather large festival in the near future. On this day, My partner and the potential Israeli partner decided to speak in Hebrew in order for the meeting to move along smoothly. So, after a few 30 minutes of gathering my thoughts I decided to get up, have a stretch and look around the yard.

In the distance, I saw a curious looking canine beckoning me to its 20 meter CAGE. After getting over the fact that the poor mutt was in a cage, I decided to take it upon myself to take the muscular and excited mammal for a walk …. he ended up running me! When I walked/ran outside with the poochie, I looked to my left and SAW MY MORNING PLATFORM! WOW I thought, we are so close to where I meditate in the mornings, what a great thing that would be if we ended up working together, maybe I could come for breakfast …. When I returned, I told the potential business partner about my findings and he mentioned the platform was HIS. I guess I have been attracting him in for some time now. AMAZING!

Sunrise 365 - Day 33 - I AM ABUNDANT

Day 33 - I am Abundant

This morning while I walked under the first light of this spectacular sunrise, I enjoyed the expanded thoughts of Wayne Dyer. One of the main topics of the day had to do with the state of abundance. Could you ever imagine the SUN having a thought that "today I just won't shine ….." or "am I enough?" I think the answer is clear .... but .... why do we? We think that we are SO BIG that we can just dim out whenever we want even though the WORLD needs us just as much as it needs the SUN. I say we make a commitment to SHINE our LOVE LIGHT in every moment possible with acts of gratitude, compassion and inner peace…..WHO's IN? .... and ….. How will you SHINE today???

Brave New World - Created Like a Child Would Create

This is how I choose to live! Lately, we have been having listening sessions for our new album Brave New World, and I have to say that there is so much skepticism about the concept. Phrases like "It is going to be really hard to market. " - "People don't want to hear various styles of music on one CD." I have to say that I KNOW PEOPLE WANT TO HEAR DIFFERENT STYLES OF MUSIC MOST OF TIME.....hence the SHUFFLE BUTTON on our mp3 players. So, what is the difference of doing it on 1 album?

Truly I understand the honest worry of each and every person that poses the same question about Brave New World. The truth is that the CD will be marketed in many markets to many different people thus expanding the message out to as many people from various backgrounds as possible. This is like the creation of a child, free of boundaries, a fantasy in the material world. A CD THAT YOU ACTUALLY CANNOT PUT IN A BOX (or Genre). HMMMM…Imagine that!?

I choose to create from the heart, a limitless expression of collaborative excellence. Are you ready for something new????

NOW, in the space of INFINITY, it's life is a mere pebble in the sand …. what does that make the human life of 100 YEARS …. Think about this the next time worry comes to mind …. LOVE!
